She’s Accused of Luring Older Men on Dating Apps and Gaining Their Trust, Then Robbing Them Blind

Adva Lavie, 28, Lavie allegedly gained access to the homes of her affluent victims before stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items, according to the district attorney

A model and social media influencer in Los Angeles is facing serious legal charges after authorities alleged a pattern of deceptive behavior involving people she met online. Prosecutors say the case involves gaining trust through digital platforms before incidents were reported.

On Monday, March 23, Adva Lavie, 28, also known as Mia Ventura, was “held to answer” on charges of burglarizing the homes of victims she had met online, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in a statement on Tuesday, March 24.

Lavie is facing two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information; two counts of grand theft, one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present and one count of first-degree residential burglary — all felonies, the district attorney said.

Lavie has appeared in “Playboy” and “Penthouse” magazines and claims to be the first ever top Israeli OnlyFans model, according to KTLA.

From 2023 to 2025, Lavie allegedly used dating apps to cultivate relationships so she could burglarize and steal from wealthy older men and younger women in the Los Angeles area, according to the district attorney.

She is accused of posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims’ homes and then stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items, according to the district attorney.

Last October, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department put out an alert saying detectives from its Malibu/Lost Hills Station were looking for Lavie, who was wanted in connection with a string of residential burglaries throughout L.A. County.

A profile page for Lavie under the name Mia Ventura on the website 21st Century Penthouse stated that she was once a flight attendant for an international airline.

“The charismatic cutie no longer makes her living in the air, but she still loves to travel,” it said. “The busty brunette admits she’s happiest when she’s trying new things and creating special memories in interesting locales.”

Lavie is scheduled to be arraigned on April 6. She is out of custody on an ankle monitor and is ordered to stay away from the named victims.

She previously pleaded not guilty to all charges, the district attorney said.

If convicted on all counts, Lavie faces up to 11 years, eight months in state prison.

It is unclear whether she has retained an attorney who can speak on her behalf.
