Tom Felton Visits Onscreen Nemesis Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway, 24 Years After Harry Potter

The two have maintained a friendship, despite being at odds as characters in the film series

Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe may have played enemies on screen, but their real-life connection tells a very different story. The two actors recently shared a heartwarming reunion that instantly brought fans back to the magic of their early days together.

In a post shared to Instagram on Thursday, March 5, the two could be seen locked in a hug as 38-year-old Felton — who played bad boy Draco Malfoy throughout the eight-film saga — visited Radcliffe, 36, at his performance of Every Brilliant Thing on Broadway.

Felton, meanwhile, has reprised his role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, also on Broadway.

In a caption to his Instagram post of the two, Felton wrote, “Broomsticks to Broadway,” adding the handles for both Every Brilliant Thing and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. He included a series of recent photos of he and Radcliffe, along with a photo of him standing outside the marquee of Every Brilliant Thing and a throwback photo from the two as children in Harry Potter.

Felton earlier showed up to support his longtime pal on Broadway at the screening of Merrily We Roll Along in December 2025 and in 2018, when Radcliffe was starring in The Lifespan of a Fact.

Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 2025 Tony Awards last June, Felton said Radcliffe was supporting him as he made his own Broadway debut.

“My old school chum, Potter, Radcliffe, has done quite a bit of Broadway, so he’s holding my hand and certainly helping me through all the things that are hard to learn,” the actor said at the time. “But from what I gather, it’s an amazing community of people. The fans are really, really gracious and excited. So I’m just thrilled to be part of it.”

Radcliffe — who portrayed the titular character in all eight installments of the original Harry Potter film series from 2001 to 2011 — made his Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Equus and went on to star in 2011’s revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, 2014’s The Cripple of Inishmaan and 2018’s The Lifespan of a Fact.

Most recently, the actor starred in the 2023 revival of Merrily We Roll Along alongside Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
